About Us

Organizations and individuals in the minority communities in the U.S. and developing countries lack critical skill sets to meet business challenges in the 21st century. To be competitive in the 21st century, managers and leaders must: be skilled at global strategy; master technology; be a politician par excellence; leader-motivator; and be a great communicator. CCD is a private, non- profit-making, 501(c)(3) organization based in Atlanta, GA, USA. CCD is governed by a very experienced Board of Directors.

Our area of focus includes management, leadership, team building, gender, communication, and counseling to meet technical and adaptive challenges for the 21st century. CCD also provides what we call “last mile towards workability” for newly graduated persons getting ready to enter the workforce in developing countries.

Through highly competent and dedicated staff, CCD employs innovative strategies to meet capacity development needs in a globalized world that is highly competitive and communication-oriented. CCD sees capacity building as the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources that individuals, organizations and communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in the fast-changing world. Its counseling activities focus on care and support for behavior change. We are a client-initiated and consultant-directed counseling.
